Frequently Asked Questions
What are lash extensions?
Lash extensions are single strands of synthetic eyelashes curved to replicate a natural lash. They are applied to each individual natural eyelash. Lash extensions last through a full growth cycle of natural lashes with proper care! Depending on the condition of your natural lashes, your lash technician will be able to determine a certain length and thickness to ensure your own lashes remain healthy.
How long do the extensions usually last?
Typically 2-4 weeks before requiring a refill.
What do I need to do before coming in for my appointment?
It is very important to arrive with clean lashes. I recommend showering beforehand as the recommended time before getting your lashes wet is 24 hours. Please do not apply any mascara on your lashes the day of your appointment and please stay clear of oil as it will dissolve the adhesive being used.
Can lash extensions cause damage to your natural lashes?
Applied correctly lash extensions are not damaging to your eyes or natural lashes. Please look into your lash technician before making your appointment. Lashes that have been placed carelessly can cause permanent damage. If you wish to remove your extensions, please contact your lash technician. Pulling the extensions out yourself will pull your natural lash out as well.
